Our DIY Kit ovens are hand-made in our Western Australian factory from the highest quality refractory materials and delivered to your door.
Our kit ovens are unique in a number of ways. To begin with they are one of the only pizza oven kits available in Australia to come complete with all materials needed to build and finish the oven. With step-by-step instructions and all materials pre-cut and renders pre-mixed, the guess work is taken out of construction and construction time is kept to a minimum.
When you purchase an Alfresco DIY Kit Oven you receive all of the following features at no additional cost:
- Pre-cast steel reinforced refractory inner dome
- Pre-cast steel reinforced refractory entrance
- Pre-cut heavy duty refractory floor bricks
- 1200°C ceramic fibre blanket
- Pre- mixed renders
- Stainless steel (Original) / granite (Courtyard & Midi) entrance plate
- Stainless steel flue and cap
- Steel (Courtyard & Midi) or Stainless Steel (Original) door with thermometer
- Stainless steel pizza paddle and steel wood poker

Which Oven Should I Choose?
Alfresco Wood Fired Pizza Ovens DIY Oven Kits come in three sizes as outlined below:
DIY Courtyard Oven™ Kit
The Courtyard is the smallest oven in our range and as the name suggests, it is designed for smaller entertaining areas. This oven has a unique internal design, making it one of the most efficient wood fired pizza ovens on the market.
Although the Courtyard is our smallest oven, it is by no means tiny and easily meets the needs of a small family. The wide mouth of the oven and generous internal cooking area allows for 2 pizzas or 2 roasting trays to be cooking at a time.
Also available as a completed oven.
DIY Midi Oven™ Kit
Due to growing demand for an oven that is smaller than the Alfresco Original but larger than the Courtyard we have now added the Midi to our range of DIY Oven Kits.
The Alfresco Midi Oven offers the same unique internal design of the Courtyard model but has a larger cooking area. The wide mouth of the oven and generous internal cooking area allows for 3 pizzas or 3 roasting trays to be cooking at a time.
Also available as a completed oven.
DIY Original Oven™ Kit
The Original is the largest of our domestic oven kits and is one of the largest wood fired oven kits on the market. This oven is the ideal entertainer and is perfect for large family gatherings and social functions — in fact due to its expansive internal cooking area, the Original is often purchased for commercial use. Up to 6 pizzas or 4 roasting trays can be cooked in the Original at once, making it the perfect for option for large families or for those you like to entertain large groups on a regualr basis.
Also available as a completed oven.
